Founded by expats who have made the move themselves, we recognized that while the country offers unparalleled opportunities for lifestyle and expansion, the journey to get here was often more complicated than it needed to be. We set out to change that by building a company that acts as a single, trusted point of coordination across the entire country.

MORE OF OUR STORY

We have spent years cultivating a vetted network of legal specialists, banking partners, and local experts throughout Mexico. This allows us to offer more than just a service; we provide a complete ecosystem. By bridging the gap between local requirements and the high standards our clients expect, we ensure that every transition whether for an individual, a family, or a business is handled with absolute clarity and security.

OUR APPROACH

We do not believe in one size fits all solutions

Every move to Mexico is unique, and our role is to provide the local expertise and professional oversight needed to navigate the landscape successfully. Whether you are settling in a major city or a coastal community, we manage the technical and lifestyle foundations of your move. From securing your status to establishing your home and connecting you with the right local resources, we ensure our clients can focus on what matters most: building their new future.

OUR MISSION

We are here to bridge the gap between your ambition and the local reality of moving to Mexico. We do more than just process visas. We build the legal, professional, and lifestyle foundations that allow individuals, families, and businesses to thrive in their new environment.

OUR STATEMENT

ViaMexico was founded to turn a complex process into a clear and seamless transition. We know that moving is about much more than just navigating red tape or filing forms. It is about establishing a new life or business with total security. We use our local connections and years of experience to handle the obstacles before they reach you. We make sure you land in Mexico with the high standards you expect and the local knowledge you need to succeed from day one.

OUR FOUNDER

JOHN WATSON

Picture of John Watson, founder of ViaMexico.

Before moving to Mexico, I served as CEO of a large fintech company. My career was built on managing investments and working alongside legal and accounting teams to navigate highly regulated industries. I was used to complexity, but when I moved here with my family, I quickly realised that even a business background couldn't fully prepare me for what came next.

Our leadership team

Javier Trigos

Javier leads ViaMexico's commercial side, building the corporate and partner relationships behind every relocation we coordinate. He is the first point of contact for companies moving staff to Mexico, and he brings a calm, structured approach to a process that rarely feels calm. Clients value how clearly he sets expectations from the very start.

Chief Commercial Officer

Angelica Cerecero

Angelica runs the day-to-day of every ViaMexico engagement and is usually the first person you speak to when you get in touch. She turns a client's situation into a clear plan and keeps the moving parts, lawyers, agents, banks and schools, working in the right order. Detailed, warm and always on your side.

Director of Operations
Head of Social Media

Adamari Paredes

Adamari runs ViaMexico's social presence, turning what we see on the ground in Mexico into content that genuinely helps people planning a move. She builds the brand's voice across our channels and makes sure the way we show up feels as considered as the service itself. Curious, sharp and quietly relentless.

Head of Community Management

Sofia Sanchez

Sofia builds the community around ViaMexico, connecting people who are moving to Mexico with the support, answers and reassurance they need. She makes sure everyone who comes to us feels looked after from the first question onward, and that no one is left waiting. Approachable, patient and endlessly helpful, she keeps every interaction human.
